CCTVnet is a highly scalable software: from the simple single workstation version to the complex, worldwide distributed enterprise solution. Due to its client-server architecture, the integrated CCTVnet Integration Framework (CIF) and hardware abstraction layer (HAL) its ready for future extensions (e.g. Voice over IP, Radio Frequency ID,…) and integration of third party security systems (e.g. access control, fire and intrusion alarm systems).

The open architecture allows devices of different manufacturers to be operated side by side, thus previous investments are fully safe guarded even by an extension of the system in the future. Also the modular structure permits the simple integration of new technologies to the software.
