Workflow guided operation

The operator is presented with all relevant information and possible actions during each security incident via a guided workflow. This process has been carefully designed to remove any random or stress-induced actions which could compromise a controlled response.

Uniquely, any order of events can be configured in the system to reflect the owner’s specific emergency response procedures. All relevant information is presented in a step-by-step sequence, with feeds from the appropriate remote device presented in order of priority.

In a scenario where, for example multiple emergency services may be required, the system will prompt the user to contact the next emergency service in order of priority, one task at a time, which can be confirmed with a single click. This removes the usual stress of selecting the next pertinent task and allows the operator to instead concentrate on the actual task in hand.

The system’s Graphical Editor supports the creation and development of emergency action procedures which will be triggered in response to the defined security events. This can cover any situation from simple access, such as an employee needing to enter a higher security area, to a complex evacuation plan in response to a major disaster.

The configuration of the guided workflow can be a continuously refine process for any system owner, enabling update and optimization at any time, with immediate access from any authorized workstation. As building utilization changes the system configuration will evolve to ensure security events are evaluated and handled optimally in real time, in accordance with company guidelines and processes.
